It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Todd Egeland, who began his next journey in heaven on September 12, 2026, at the age of 47.
Timothy truly loved life and found joy in simple pleasures—camping, fishing, and creating art. He was an exceptionally talented artist whose creativity and skill went far beyond the recognition he received. For most of his life, Timothy worked in construction as a master mason; a true jack-of-all-trades, there was little he couldn't build or fix with his hands.
Above all else, Timothy’s absolute pride and joy was his children. Though life wasn't always simple, every decision he made for them was guided by deep love and their best interests. He was endlessly proud of his beautiful, amazing children, who brought so much light to his world even if sometimes it was from afar. Anyone who knew Timothy will forever miss his easygoing nature, his ability to make people smile, and his unforgettable, contagious laugh.
Timothy is survived by his loving partner, Sara; his beloved biological children, Timothy and Skye; and his bonus children, Kayne, Keadin, and Journey. He is also survived by his father, Rick Ditewig, and his siblings: Johnny Egeland, Jennifer (Tim) Kranning, Melissa (Don) Degeneffe, and Angela Ditewig (Bob Patza).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia "Patti" Ditewig; his brother, Michael Egeland; and his grandmother, Jacqueline (Ditewig) Hurst.
The family extends a heartfelt special thanks to HeavenLee Bowman, Nicole Engels, and Tanya Mier for their compassionate help and support with preparations during this difficult time.
