Thomas “Tom” J. Wolfert, age 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 20, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Tom was born on December 8th, 1946, to the late Frank and Crescentia “Stalter” Wolfert. He graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1965. Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Specialist Four (SP4). Throughout his career, Tom worked at Willman Foundry for 25 years, as well as C&S Construction and Tenpas Masonry, before establishing his own cleaning company.

On December 8, 1977, Tom married the love of his life, Cindy, in Sheboygan. Together, they shared 49 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and adventure. They enjoyed traveling throughout the state of Wisconsin and across the country, taking cruises, and attending countless concerts, reflecting their shared love of music.

Tom had a passion for raising, showing, and racing pigeons, earning numerous trophies over the years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising dogs, and spending time outdoors at the family homestead. Above all, Tom cherished his family and took great pride in being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and four brothers.

In accordance with Tom’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date.
