Theresa Lynn (Laundre) Stahl

November 15, 1962 — August 15, 2025

Theresa Lynn (Laundre) Stahl, age 62, of Green Bay, passed away August 15th after a hard fought battle with cancer, surrounded by family. She was born November 15, 1962, to the now late Richard and Carol (Radej) Laundre.

She was small in stature, but very headstrong, which got her through some very tough times in her life. She helped out many family and friends in need and was a loyal and trustworthy sister and friend. Instinctively she was a protector of all!

Theresa had a strong desire to be a mother. Although she could not have children of her own, an opportunity arose for her and her husband to adopt. It was the ultimate gift she could ever receive, and loved that child fiercely. Theresa loved being a mom and wife, as well as an awesome aunt to all her nieces and nephews.

Theresa loved many different genres of music and especially had fun going to concerts with family and friends. She loved going to craft shows, shopping, the cabin up north and raffles. Often times at the chili cook offs at Josten Park or the many charity events, you could find her at the raffle booths with paddles in hand.

She didn’t like to cook but she loved to entertain! Many Packer parties and holiday gatherings at her place were always a big part of our lives. Theresa liked to travel on family vacations or the occasional business trip with Joe. She always had a beautiful yard that she took great pride in. She loved to decorate her home and yard for every holiday and event. Fall was her favorite time of year and Christmas her favorite holiday.

Theresa loved everything about cats and they loved her. It was nothing to find her nursing an abandoned kitten or taking a three legged cat (Mable) that was left alone on the farm. She’s had too many to mention throughout her life, but she leaves behind Mable and Cinder.

Theresa is survived by her son, Sage Stahl (Ash). Her siblings; Bob Landry (Jean), Larry and Tammy Laundre, John Laundre, Amy and Hudson Lane, Tom and Trish Laundre, and Lisa Verhaagh- her best friend and confidante. She is also survived by 8 wonderful step siblings and their families. Nieces and nephews; Troy, Tina, Clark, Chris, Melissa, Ashleigh, Shannon, Mick, Bill, Grace, Thomas, Brianna and Madison. Twenty two great nieces and nephews. She loved all her nieces and nephews so much, but closest to her heart were her nephew Nick’s children; Jayden, Chloe and Carson. She was like a second mom to her nieces, Brianna and Madison. They were of immense help watching over Theresa during her last month.

Preceded in death besides her parents and step mother Arletta Laundre, are maternal grandparents; John (Slim) and Emma Radej, Paternal grandparents; Peter and Mary Laundre. Siblings; Mary Laundre, Bill Laundre and Chuck Laundre, and nephew; Nicholas Verhaagh, as well as her ex husband Joe Stahl. Along with all her aunts and uncles, and many fur babies,

Per Theresa’s wishes, there will be a private family gathering.

Thank you to all the care givers and administrative staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center. The family appreciated the wonderful girls through Aurora Palliative and Aurora Hospice, for the brief time they cared for her.

We will miss her deeply. She left an indelible mark on us all. She went too soon and should have had the chance to grow old. It was a tough year and a half struggle for her and her son and family. For everyone who took care of Theresa in any way from the start to the end, she truly appreciated it.

And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you made.
