Theresa Ann Gasser, age 57, of Chilton passed away on July 30th surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with lung cancer. Theresa was born on March 15, 1966, in Wheaton, Illinois. She was proceeded in death by her Father Lanson Eugene Dodge & her Mother Francis Pearl Tyda.
Theresa is survived by her husband Paul Gasser, Daughter Sheena Gasser, Daughter Tesha Buboltz (Jeremy), Son Jordan Gasser. Her grandkids Brayden, Gracie & Maximus Buboltz. Sisters Debbie Turdo (Kurt), Dawn Demge, Lyn Dahl (Scott) and Brothers Roy Demge (Peggy) & Steve Dodge. Along with many other extended family & close friends.
Theresa held various jobs throughout the years, but her favorite was working with children, the elderly or the clients at New Hope Center.
Around 2011 Theresa & Paul started attending Faith alliance church where they both accepted Jesus into there lives. Theresa enjoyed volunteering at Awana & other church activities where her relationship continued to grow with God and her community.
Theresa was a creative & talented woman always looking for the next endeavor. She enjoyed painting, scrapbooking & pretty much anything that was crafty. She even published a children’s book called eating my abcs She enjoyed spending time with her husband Paul whether it be cooking on the fire out back or traveling to new destinations. She enjoyed time with her kids but her grandchildren definitely came first. She also enjoyed playing sheepshead, having bonfires or just hanging out with her friends in the she shed.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 19th at Faith Alliance church in Chilton. Visitation 2p-4p. Service at 4:30 with a dinner to follow. Theresa’s favorite color was purple if you have something purple or any other bright color please wear it in her memory.
The family would like to thank Theda care Hospice for their support and care with Theresa along with doctor Sipple through Bellin. They would also like to thank all the family and friends that were so supportive and helpful with Theresa during her fight against cancer.
