Susan Rix

It is with heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing of our beloved sister, Susan L. Rix, who left us unexpectedly but peacefully, on June 7, 2024, after complications from heart surgery at the age of 75.

Susan is survived by her sisters, Christine (Randy) Rasmussen, Alice McGuire Backlund (Chip Backlund), Rosemary Strobel, Pattie (Perry) Rindfliesch, brother Ed (Jean) Coenraad, and many nieces and nephews along with her furry companion Lily. She also had a number of very close friends since high school.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband Roger, her parents, Christian and Janie Coenraad, brother David Coenraad, and brother in law Ken Strobel.

As per Susan’s wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. Her family will hold a private burial and family gathering in Susan’s memory.
