Stephen "Bozzy" Peter DeGroot

Stephen "Bozzy" Peter DeGroot , 50, of Morgan passed away Monday, October 12, 2026.

Steve was an outdoorsman happiest surrounded by nature, birdwatching, camping, and the simple pleasures of life. He took tremendous pride in maintaining his home, nurturing the trees he planted, mowing his property in his tractor, and enjoying the little piece of paradise he created. He held his commercial driver's license and spent much of life as a cement mixer. Steve was also handy and could fix or build just about anything.

He loved spending time with family and friends, especially gathering around the table for a game of cribbage or cards. Wheather sharing stories, trading jokes, or turning up his favorite 80s music. He was always cracking jokes and making people laugh. Steve knew how to make ordinary moments memorable.

Family and Friends are invited to gather for a celebration of life and share stories on Sunday, October 25, 2026 Noon-6pm at The Bar on Holmgren Way, Green Bay.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Joseph John DeGroot (1993), and his mother, Eleanor Rita DeGroot (2017). May his soul rest easy.
