Shirley Vandermuss

Shirley Vandermuss, 85, Green Bay, passed away January 7, 2024.  Born on July 22, 1938,  she is the daughter of the late Ernest and Dora Vandermuss .  She was a graduate of West High School.  Shirley worked for the city of Green Bay her entire life and worked for local elections.  She also worked at Elder-Beerman before retiring at the age of 67. Shirley loved ballroom dancing, her old fashioneds, and times spent with friends. She always had her beehive hairdo, and was extremely fashionable. Shirley was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was very devout in her faith. 

She is survived by sister Mary Fabry; nieces and nephews, Goddaughter, Jeanne (Jeff) Lindsley and her special friend, Joel.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Schmidt.  

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason St, January 20, from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM.  

Jeanne would like to extend a special thank you to Woodside Assisted Living, The Jack and Ingrid Meng Residence, Unity Hospice, and especially Grancare nursing home.  Also, a special thank you to all of her caregivers over the years-you know who you are.

The energizer bunny has fulfilled her life.
