Sharon Braatz

Sharon Lee (Prudhomme) Braatz, 83, Green Bay, died at home on Sunday, November 30, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on February 2, 1942 in Marinette, Wisconsin, to the late Earl and Katherine (Grenier) Prudhomme. She graduated from Marinette High School in 1960. On April 6th, 1962, she married Thomas Braatz, son of the late Thomas and Evelyn (Hintz) Braatz. Together they raised their three children, David, Daniel and Shelly.

Sharon was the matriarch of the Braatz family for over 65 years. She took care of everyone in the family, including her children, husband, sisters and brothers. She enjoyed weekends at the cabin in Middle Inlet. Tom and Sharon also loved to travel across the country with her sister, Judy and late brother-in-law, Marvin Davidson. Their travels included many wild adventures, including getting sprayed with water at the gate of Ozzie Osborne's home.

Sharon is survived by her husband Thomas; their children and families, David (Lynn), Daniel (Barbara) and Shelly (Allan Buchinger), grandchildren, Alex (Logan) Braatz, Brooklyn (Lee) Cody, and Mikenna (Zachary) Pecha, and great-grandchild Lennon Braatz, sister, Judy Davidson (Alvin Hogg), sister-in-law Shirley Prudhomme, sister-in-law, Rosie (Rick) Scott, sister-in-law, Carol Braatz, sister-in-law, Wendy (Dennis) Kolbusz, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and mother and father in-laws, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Patricia Prudhomme, sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Kenneth Erdman, brother Wayne Prudhomme, and sister Debi Brockman and significant other, Jim Boltz along with brothers James and Jacky Prudhomme, brother-in-law, Lee Braatz, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Wayne and Barbara Braatz.

Per Sharon's request, no formal funeral will be held. Interment will be at a later date at Fort Howard Cemetery, Green Bay. The family would like to thank Unity Hospice.
