In Loving Memory of Sandra Fay (Hembel) Raynier

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Raynier, a beloved mother, grandmother, Great-grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully on October 14th, 2025, at the age of 82, in Oshkosh, WI.

Sandra was born on January 21st, 1943 to the late Lester and Mamie (Witt) Hembel.

Sandra was a member of St Peters Lutheran Church in Mishicot.

Sandra was a devoted mother, tireless worker, and passionate lover of nature. Her connection to the world’s beautiful fauna and flora held a special place in Sandra’s heart. She had a lifelong affection for German Shepherds, horses, birds, and various wild creatures. She found peace in the rustling of leaves, the songs of birds, and companionship of animals underneath the warming sun. Sandy loved to lose herself in a good book quite often amidst the breathtaking flower gardens she cultivated throughout her life. With all that she held most dear, she built her home into a sanctuary for her family.

She joins her beloved husband, Richard E., and her son, Richard L., who passed before her. In addition, Sandra was preceded in death by her sisters, Elean Weckler (Gerald), Donna Rodney (Donald), Darlene Rohr (Tim), brothers, Lester Hembel Jr, and Darold Hembel, and two brother in laws, Jerry Kimber, Edmund Bliss, Joseph Raynier, sister-in-law Irene Isonhart.

Survivors include Daughters, Kelley Raynier Chervenka (Jeffrey LaCosse), Lisa Raynier (Bruce Henrickson), and Daughter-in-law Maureen Raynier. Two sisters, Joanne Kimber and Carol Bliss. Two sisters-in-law, Pamela Hembel, Audrey Hembel, and brother-in-law Patrick Raynier. Eight Grandchildren, Austyn Chervenka (Nicole), Kayla Chervenka (Alex Scheurers), Jennifer Matias (Bobby), Ryan Raynier, Jessica Raynier, Tyler LaCosse, Conner LaCosse, and Paul LaCosse. Four great grandchildren, Ella Matias, Jane Chervenka, Luke Chervenka, and Liam Raynier, as well as beloved nieces and nephews.

Sandra will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and her boundless love. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and in the beauty of the natural world she so adored. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

We would like to give a special thank you to Heartland Hospice of Fond du lac.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
