Sabrina "Brina" Wilkinson

Sabrina “Brina” Wilkinson (1993-2025) A loving mother, wife, sister, and daughter, passed away suddenly on December 28th, 2025 in Madison surrounded by her family. Born in Marinette, Wisconsin to Nicole Plascencia, and Ryan Martens, Sabrina spent her entire life in the north-central Wisconsin area.

She spent her professional life doing what she loved personally and deeply, caring for children of all ages. She was responsible for the care, teaching, and loving of dozens of little souls throughout her life. She married her beloved husband, Jeremy, in 2019, and five years later gave birth to the true love of her life, her son James, one week before Christmas of 2024. Sabrina was known by her friends, family, and coworkers for her great capacity for warmth, her tenacity, and her booming laugh. She loved to draw and paint. She was at home in nature. She loved hunting, and being in or near all forms of water. She loved her backyard garden and would routinely grow fruits and vegetables for family meals. One of her favorite activities was to plan intricate surprise parties for all occasions for her loved ones, from birthdays to graduations.

She is survived by her mother, father, three sisters, five brothers, her husband, and her son. 

She is also survived by the individuals who were recipients of her gifts of donation. As an organ donor, she was able to help numerous people live, or enjoy a quality of life that they might not have otherwise been able to. In doing so she again reminded all of us that even in passing she is what she was in life, a caretaker.
