Ronald Markell, 78, Green Bay passed away March 31, 2015 with his loving wife by his side. Born on January 29, 1937, in Madison, WI, he is the son of the late Roy and Mary Markell. Ron graduated from Catholic Central class of ’57. He married the former Sandy Devroy on August 3, 1972, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Ron liked going to Door County and gardening. He loved watching his Brewers, Badgers, and Packers.
He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Sandy and nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jeanne Scott; one brother, Roy Markell Jr. and two nephews, Steven Markell and David Millar.
Visitation at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 710 N. Baird St, Monday, April 6, from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM with Deacon Bob Ellis officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Heartland Hospice.
