Romona Sue Rysewyk, 62, passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, with her loving husband Richard by her side. Romona and her sister Kathy ran their own commercial Salmon fishing site in Nelson Lagoon for many years. This is also where she met the love of her life and future husband Richard. They both had a passion for fishing and the beautiful Alaskan wilderness. Romona and Richard were married on October, 21, 1983. Along with her love of fishing, she was an avid painter and an excellent cook. Those who loved and knew Romona were blessed with her quick wit and beautiful smile. Romona always made others feel at ease and comfortable in her presence.
