Rebecca "Becky" Wanty

Aug 12, 1955 — Aug 14, 2026

Green Bay, WI

Rebecca "Becky" Wanty, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 14, 2026. Born on August 12, 1955, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, Becky lived a life rich with love, laughter, and kindness that she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Becky was the cherished daughter of Robert and Marlene, who preceded her in death, along with her beloved grandparents Poppy and Raymond, her brothers Timmy, Tommy, and Michael, and her precious grandson Alex Neiman. Her legacy lives on in her children, Angel (Chris) Neiman, Chad Taylor, Timothy Taylor, Sarah (Shane) Yarrington, Theresa Taylor, and Michelle Taylor, as well as her 12 grandchildren—Alyssa, Mickey (Tiffany), Riley, Logan, Salvador, Isabella, Aliyana, Gavin, Jessie, Isaiah, and Josh—and her 4 great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory dear. Becky is also survived by her brother Robbie(Julia) and half-sister, Lisa.

Throughout her life, Becky was known for her dedication and hard work. She enjoyed a fulfilling career spanning several roles, including line cook, bartender, and janitorial work. Her colleagues and patrons alike fondly remember her quick wit and warm smile, making every workplace a brighter, more welcoming space.

A woman of many talents, Becky loved sewing and spent her final days crafting quilts for her future great-grandchildren. Her passion for reading, gardening, and playing darts brought her immense joy, as did her extensive movie collection, which she relished sharing with her family. Becky's vibrant personality and heartfelt generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she met, with her kindness echoing through her community.

A service to celebrate Becky's life will be held on August 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Beaumont Park. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Aurora for their exceptional care and love for Becky. Their dedication and respect provided immense comfort during her final days, and the family is eternally grateful for the kindness shown to their beloved mother. Becky will be missed dearly but her spirit and love remain in the hearts of those she touched. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
