Patricia Jean Jones, age 79, of Marinette, WI passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024 surrounded by her family. Patricia was born on January 18, 1945 in Gulfport, Mississippi to Betty and Arthur Jones. She later moved to Marinette, WI where she lived much of her life.

Pat is survived by her three sons Arthur, John, and James (Elizabeth) Podlasek; granddaughters Kalin (Joshua Oleck) and Lauren Podlasek; and brother Arthur (Sharon) Jones Jr. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Jones and her father Arthur Jones Sr.

Pat was a friend to everyone and many people affectionately called her Ma. While she loved being a boy mom, she was very enamored with her two granddaughters. Pat enjoyed crocheting and teaching people to crochet and would often give beautiful handmade gifts to loved ones. Pat was an animal lover and had many pets throughout her life. Her cat Smokey gave her much comfort in the last months of her life. Pat also enjoyed watching Westerns and would continue to listen to them when her eyesight began to decline.

Pat is further survived by nieces and nephews Angela (Chris) Meisel, Erik Jones, Randy Boivin, Rhonda (Shayne) Sullivan, Heather (Ryan) Boucher, and Patti (Bob) Powell as well as multiple grandnieces.

Pat’s family would like to thank special friends Pam and Cindy who took her to many appointments and Tina and Kelly who provided her with her favorite coffee daily. Also thank you to Dr. Jared and the amazing nurses at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay, staff at Aurora Medical Center Bay Area in Marinette, WI and countless other caregivers.
