Patrice Mary Galvin

November 14, 1966 — February 15, 2015

Patrice Mary Galvin returned to Heaven and her Maker on February 15, 2015. Patrice was born on November 14, 1966, in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Shortly thereafter , she and her family moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin. Patrice graduated from Catholic Central Grade School and St. Joseph Academy. She attended the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with a degree in Textile Design. Patrice moved to the New York area and worked for Designtex and later, Maharam, amongst others. After moving to Santa Rosa, California, she worked for Olde Towne Jewelers.

Patrice was an artist. She loved living among and creating beautiful artistic works, especially in the area of textile design. Many were gifted with her beautiful artistic works.

Patrice had many lifelong friends from coast to coast who have given her support and love through this difficult journey. A group of friends met every summer in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts; and did even this past summer. Another group of friends accompanied Patrice to New Mexico to fulfill a life long dream of visiting Georgia O’Keefe’s museum.

Patrice will be missed and remembered by her mother, Marjorie Galvin and nine brothers and sisters: Mary (Manuel) Santos, Bill (Ann) Galvin, Anne (Joe) Moore, Ellen Galvin, Dann (Victoria) Galvin , Martha Galvin Abou El Ella, Marjorie (Rob) Booth, Tony Galvin, and Bob (Jessica) Galvin, Sue Galvin, and Vaughna Galvin will also miss Patrice.

Patrice will also be missed by her nieces and nephews: Amelia, Nico, and Analise Santos; Erin Galvin, Megan (Jim) Beaudoin, Brittany, and Molly Galvin; Mia, Eva, and Liam Moore; Michael, Sharon (Luke) Larscheid, Will, Raechel and Samantha Gavlin; Tarik and Mustafa Abou El Ella; McKenna and Addison Booth; Eliza and Liam Galvin; Ellanore and Noah Galvin. Also, her great nephew, Carl Larscheid.

Patrice leaves behind Aunts and Uncles: Rosemary (Galvin) Dickinson, Margie (Galvin) Infanti, Edward Cwiklin, and Jacquie and Dick Minich. She will be missed by her many, many, cousins, especially Mary Beth Infanti and Joan Dickinson.

Patrice was preceded in death by her father, William Galvin; her grandparents, Grace and Edward Cwikin, Margaret and Frank Galvin. She was also preceded by her aunts and uncles: Bobbi Cwiklin, Eileen and Fred Fuller, Francis and Anne Galvin, George Dickinson and Dominic Infanti.

Visitation at St John the Evangelist, 413 St. John St.,Saturday, February 21, from 9 AM until the time of the funeral Mass at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, Patrice would like donations to Saint John the Evangelist Parish to always have beautiful flowers on the altar.

Patrice’s family would like to especially thank Luisa and Dora for their kind and caring support of Patrice through their care giving and Unity Hospice, Green Bay.
