Nancy Marie Schmid

Nancy Schmid passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2026, at Aurora Hospital, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was a loving partner of Allen Boucher, with whom she shared 11 beautiful years.

Nancy was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and was the devoted daughter of Robert Thomas Schmid, Dorene Marie Kehrberg, and Rhonda Schmid. She graduated in 1992, and went on to dedicate 16 years helping organize and support cancer benefits in Green Bay.

Nancy found joy in racing, cooking, cruises, visiting the beach, and most of all spending meaningful times with friends and family. Nancy was fiercely loyal, had a wonderful sense of humor that brightened any room, lived with an adventurous spirit, and showed deep compassion for everyone she met.

She is survived by her partner, Allen Boucher; her daughters, Alanah Ressel (Wade Ressel) and Haley Heinritz (David Buchanan); her granddaughter, Eleanor Ressel; her siblings, Edmond Schmid, Patricia Schelvan (Lance Schelvan), Micheal Schmid, John Schmid, Billy Schmid, Phillip Schmid, Bobby Jr Schmid (Stephanie Schmid), Stacy VanDer Linden; and her beloved dog, Piper.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Schmid; her adoptive mother, Rhonda Schmid; her brothers, George Schmid and Carl Schmid; and her sister, Shanda Daehnert.

The celebration of life will be held on June 6th, 2026, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at A Gathering for You (822 Cormier Rd Green Bay, WI 54304), followed by a repass at 3:00pm at BC’s (617 Lime Kiln Rd Green Bay, WI 54302). Beach attire is encouraged. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made at the celebration of life.
