Ms Taku Ronsman

March 28, 1953 — April 13, 2023

 

Ms Taku Ronsman known as "the drumming lady", 70, of Green Bay, passed away April 13, 2023, after a fight with cancer.  In October 2006 she was honored by the Chamber of Commerce as one of the "50 People You Should Know" in Greater Green Bay.  She encouraged people to believe in themselves.  Ms Taku's main focus was to practice ecology and cherish everyone.  She was best known in the community for Rhythms and Tunes with Ms Taku. Ms Taku was a professional educator, music and movement specialist, leader and community volunteer. Ms Taku known for programs that build community as it entertains and engages the lives of children and families. She conducted these programs in public libraries, schools, nursing homes and public venues. Ms Taku was a local and statewide activist and she fought for what she believed in and had a cause but was not mean spirited. In her next life she hopes to be a butterfly. 

She is survived by her husband, Steve; daughter Concetta Ife (Ian Quartana) Clemente; granddaughter, Prosperpina Ife Quartana; siblings Jim, Nancy, and Debra; four nieces and and three nephews. 

Ms Taku was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Angelina Zender; sibling, Ricky.  

In accordance with her wishes  no formal service will be held.  

Ms Taku wrote 77 songs and in lieu of flowers lets sing one of her songs. What Does it Mean to Be a Human Being?:  What does it mean to evolve as a human being? It means that I will act each day, to be better in some way than the person I was yesterday.
