Michelle "Shelly" Williams

May 27, 1978 — March 31, 2024

Michelle " Shelly" Williams found peace on March 31 2024 with her husband Mike by her side, after a 12yr battle with brain cancer that she refused to let control her life. She was born in Green Bay WI May 27 1978 to Jim and Geri Edges.
On July 16 2005 she married her best friend and love of her life Mike Williams at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens.
Shelly loved fishing with husband, fishing trips to Canada, vacationing and camping with her family and friends and spending time with her children and grandchild. She also enjoyed bowling and golfing with her husband and friends. She loved animals, especially her labs Maximus and Tucker. She enjoyed attending numerous craft fairs with her family and friends. She also very much enjoyed going out for a good fish fry, cheese curds and a good old fashioned on a Friday night although she would often say her husband's fish fry was the best. She also enjoyed her years working at Badger Billing Service in Mequon and the friends she made there and most recently US Bank in Oshkosh
Shelly was a vibrant yet humble person, as characterized by her kindness, her compassion and always ready to lend a hand when needed.
The loss of Shelly is deeply felt by all who knew her. She was more than just a presence: she was an example of kindness, compassion and light in the lives of her loved ones. Shelly's absence leaves an unfathomable void, a space once filled with her laughter, her warmth and her love and she will be deeply missed.

Shelly is survived by her husband Mike, her parents Jim and Geri Edges, older brother Clint (Brenda), her children Brooke (Trent and granddaughter Laklyn), Madison and Hunter (Peyton), mother in law Shelley Williams, brother in law David Williams (Teresa).

Shelly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Jane Brick, Al and Irene Edges, aunt Carol Reince, cousin Darlene Kroll and father in law Lee "Mike" Williams.

A Celebration of Life to honor Shelly will be announced at a later date.

Shelly's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her Froedtert Oncology Team, The Bellin Cancer Team and Unity Hospice and all of her friends for all of their assistance through her journey!!
