Michael Vandeveld born on 10/9/1952 - a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and lifelong outdoorsman, passed away peacefully on 2/10/2026 with his wife and daughter at his side.
He found his greatest joy outdoors—whether hunting, fishing, spending time with his buddies at the gun club, or relaxing at the family cottage. Some of his favorite moments were shared there with friends and family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
Mike took great pride in working for the family business, Green Bay Chicago Lines, for many years.
Above all else, he was incredibly proud of his family. He was a loving father and an even prouder grandfather. Nothing brought a bigger smile to his face than watching his granddaughter, Mila, play basketball. He rarely missed a chance to cheer her on and was her biggest fan.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Roberta; his daughter, Jennifer (Jon) Eis; his cherished granddaughter, Mila Eis; his sisters, Debbie Vandeveld and Linda (Tom) Nuthals; and his nephew, Ryan (Missy, Maddy, and Sophie) Nuthals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Claudia Vandeveld.
He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his loyalty to his friends, and his deep devotion to his family. His presence will be greatly missed, but his stories, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
