Michael John Deuster

Michael John Deuster, 78, Suamico, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at a local hospital. He was born September 29, 1947, in Green Bay, son of the late William and Leatrice (Baetsen) Deuster. He graduated from Green Bay Preble High School, Class of 1965. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, stationed on the USS Constitution. He married Janie Smith on July 18, 1981, in Shawano. Michael worked as a Papermaker, retiring from Georgia Pacific.

He loved bowling--bowling 3, 300 games in his life, and also enjoyed fishing and was consumed with predicting the NFL Draft.

Survivors include his loving wife, Janie; 4 children: Bradley, Tarin Deuster and Lindsay (Scott) Thill, and Casey Deuster; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin Anderson, and Gemma and Nora Thill; and brother, John Deuster.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, William Jr. and Paul, and a sister, Susan Hart.
