Mary Goomey

Born in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, Mary Lou Goomey dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her work as a certified nursing assistant for 30 years and in her retirement, where she found joy in making blankets for family, friends, and those in need. She was a compassionate soul whose warmth and generosity touched many lives.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her five sisters—Betty, Audrey, Doris, Madeleine (Maggie), and Veronica—and her brother, Joe. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Goomey; her two children, Kurt and Amy; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her two brothers, Peter and James, all of whom will cherish her memory.

Visitation at Nicolet Memorial Gardens, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd., Friday, May 23, from 12:30 PM until the time of the service at 2:30 PM.
