Mark (Mick) Townley

Mark (Mick) Townley of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away November 3, 2023 with his loved ones by his side.

Mick was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 26, 1946 to parents Dr. Charles O. Townley and Naomi I. Townley. He married Kathleen A. (Heim) Townley on August 22, 1985 in Green Bay, WI.

Mick served his country in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967. He was awarded the Bronze Metal of Valor for his service during that time. He was also a founding member of VVA Chapter 224 in Green Bay, WI. He was an established guitarist and lead singer who performed in many bands and his love for music is what ultimately brought him to Green Bay . The band he was most proud of was the one he started, Bud Zoid and the RazorHeads who performed together for 6 years. Mick was also passionate about the game of golf which he ultimately turned into his full time profession. He established Mr. Golf along with his wife Kathleen and business partner Randy VanEss. He eventually sold his portion of the business to retire and have the time to enjoy playing golf at his leisure. He was especially proud of having 9 hole in ones in his lifetime.

Mick is survived by the love of his life Kathleen A. Townley, Step-Daughters Tory (Jared) Homme, April (Keith) Dart, Grandchildren Morgan and Max Homme, Hunter Dart. His siblings Sue Derrick, Jill Mezger, Kim Sheppard, Julie Morton, and Jon Townley. He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Jeffrey Townley.

The family would like to thank Unity Hospice for the exceptional care that was provided and to the family and friends that have been supportive during this journey.
