Mark (Kissy) R. Kissinger

March 1, 1955 — December 10, 2022

Mark (Kissy) R Kissinger, 67, of Elkhart Lake, WI, passed away on December 10th, 2022, after a long battle with colon cancer.

Mark was born at St Nicholas hospital, in Sheboygan, WI, to parents Marvin and Merel Kissinger, their first child of four. He graduated from Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah High School and then attended LTI for two years for Drafting. He worked at Plyco Corporation and later worked for Bemis in the shipping and receiving department for over 25 years.

Growing up, Mark went hunting and fishing with his dad and brother. Mark's passions were: golf, bowling, bike riding, deer hunting, his garden and going to the Marsh. He really loved to bow hunt in Iowa as well as in the area. In the spring he would start tomato plants from seed and would grow them in his green house...that was actually his car. And his garden at Gary Kraus's house was his pride and joy.

Mark is survived by his sisters, Tammy (Fredric) Ehrett and Kerry Lane; nieces and nephews, Fredric IV, Kristina (Bryan) Dyer, Kallie Lane, Kasey Lane (Jonny) Beale, Kody (Liz) Lane, Aaron (Kristen) Kissinger, Melissa (Elliot) Ladwig; and twelve great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Merel Kissinger; brother, Mikel Kissinger; sister-in-law, Cheryl Kissinger; a great niece; and all of his grandparents.

The family would like to thank Doctor Betag in Sheboygan and Mayo Clinic in MN for all their care, as well as the Sharon Richardson Hospice. We would also love to thank all his friends, as you are the best friends anyone could wish for.

Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 9th, at the Sheboygan County Marsh, visitation from 11:00am - 1:00pm, followed by a short service.

In lieu of flowers, any donations will help to place a memorial bench at the Marsh.
