Marjorie (Margie Melum) DeVillers, 88, of Green Bay died peacefully on May 13, 2024 after a short illness. Her loving family was at her side.
“Marge” attended St. Patrick Grade School in Green Bay and East DePere High School. She had wonderful memories of her high school years, and made life-long friends with whom she still enjoyed a lunch gathering every month.
She enjoyed singing, and was for many years a member of the choir at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. She was also a long-time member of the Dudley Birder Chorale and was thrilled to perform with them at Carnegie Hall in New York. She treasured time spent with her family and was enjoying getting to know her new great-grandson, Grady. She loved to travel the world, and she looked forward to summers spent sailing on Lake Winnebago and spending time with her friends at Pioneer Marina.
She is survived by daughters, Laurie DeVillers of Waukegan, IL and Lisa (Mike) Ragan of Homosassa, FL; son, Steve (Katy) DeVillers of New Franken; grandsons, Sam (Katy) DeVillers of Kewaunee and Charlie DeVillers of Green Bay; great-grandson, Grady DeVillers; brother, John Melum of Frisco, Colorado; sister-in-law, Sandy (Larry) Bader of Harshaw, WI; sister-in-law, Mary Melum of Green Bay; nine nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen (Behan) Van Dreel; father, John Melum; sisters, Alice (Melum) Wallace and Edith Melum; nephew, Michael Melum.
