Lynne Jean Reihbandt, 66, of De Pere, WI, passed away at home on September 15th, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished the simple things in life.
Lynne was born on March 9th, 1957, to Ralph and Helen Pasbrig. She married her husband of 40 years, Jeff Reihbandt at St. Stephen Lutheran Church of Horicon, WI in 1983. Together they had one daughter, Nichole, and lived in Waupun, WI, for 37 years before they retired to De Pere, WI, to be near their daughter and beloved grandchildren.
Prior to her retirement, Lynne worked as an assembler at Mayville Engineering Company for nearly 35 years. She took great pride in her work and forged many lasting friendships along the way.
In her younger years, Lynne enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and going up north for family deer-hunting. She treasured the memories of family fishing trips, camping adventures, and vacations. An avid Brewers and Packers fan, she loved a good edge-of-your-seat game and tailgate party. In her retirement, she discovered a newfound passion for wood carving and enjoyed the occasional casino trip with friends.
Among Lynne’s most cherished moments were those spent with her grandchildren, Caroline and Carson. Affectionately known to them as Nana, she and Jeff spent countless days playing, adventuring, and making memories with them after they moved to De Pere.
Lynne is survived by her husband, Jeff Reihbandt, her daughter Nichole (Phill) Habel, and her grandchildren, Caroline and Carson Habel. She is also survived by her brothers, Wayne (Lois) Pasbrig and Glen Pasbrig, sister-in-law Diane Pasbrig, sister-in-law Donna Reihbandt, and several nieces and nephews. Lynne is preceded in death by her parents, brother Neal Pasbrig, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and brother-in-law.
To honor her memory, a Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023 from 2:00pm to 6:30pm at The Rock Garden in Green Bay. We invite family and friends to join us in sharing their favorite stories and memories of Lynne. A short Memorial Service and Prayer will be held at 3:00pm.
