Linda “Honey” Louise Peterson was born to Robert and Marie Huguet on January 20, 1948, into a large and loving home. She had a very close relationship with the Lord from an early age. Linda married Kenneth Peterson on August 2, 1969; they were happily married 55 years. Her passion was teaching young children while teaching in the Catholic school system for many years. Her effect on the children she taught was evident to this day. Her former students would approach her in public, give her big hugs and share the impact she had on their lives. Above all, she was loving and caring to her children. When her grandchildren arrived, she showed them a whole new level of love, earning the nickname “Grandma Honey”. However, her great grandchildren brought out her greatest levels of love and joy.
She is survived in life by her husband Kenneth, her daughter Maria Fishler {Mike Fishler}, her grandchildren Steven Fishler {Hannah Michaelson}, Lizzy Sulewski {Cody Sulewski}, Charles Peterson, Emmaline Peterson, and her great grandchildren Adeline Sulewski and Ryan Sulewski. Along with three sisters Kathy Nuthals, Julie Brunette {Michael Brunette}, and Janus Shernak. Two brothers Tom Huguet {Bonnie Huguet} and Harry Huguet. Along with many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert, Marie, and step father Anthony Hamernick, sons Steven and Robert Peterson, brother Richard Huguet, sister Marilyn Dahlke, brothers in law Robert Dahlke, Sylvester Revolinski, and Denis Nuthals, sisters in law Martha Huguet and Mary Ann Peterson.
