Larry L. LeRoy

Larry L. LeRoy, 88, of Lincoln, Wis., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Friday, August 21, 2026. He was born on July 3, 1938, to the late John J. and Verna (Dellis) LeRoy.

On October 17, 1959, Larry married his lifelong sweetheart, Judith DeGuelle, at St. Hubert Catholic Church. During their 62 years of marriage, they were blessed with two children, three granddaughters, three great-grandsons, and four great-granddaughters.

Larry found joy in the simple things in life—a cold beer, Oreos and bananas, time spent surrounded by family, and the laughter of those he loved. His Catholic faith was an important part of who he was, and he took great pride in pouring his heart into his faith.

He also found peace in the little moments, like feeding the birds, fishing with Oliver, raising husky dogs, playing with his great-grandchildren, and camping with the love of his life. These simple joys, along with the love he shared so freely, are memories his family will forever cherish.

Larry is survived by his daughter, LaRissa Steinke; granddaughters, Courtney (Oliver) Cantu, Cassie (Levi) Hoeckendorff, and Chelsey (Ryan) Romuald; great-grandchildren, Dominique, Jasmine, Olivia, Mila, Sawyer, Hadley, and Hudson; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann LeRoy and Debbie (Jim) Mastlair; brother-in-law, Lee Veeser; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith (DeGuelle) LeRoy; his parents, Verna and John LeRoy; his mother- and father-in-law, Dorothy and Harvey DeGuelle; his son, Lonnie LeRoy; his siblings, John LeRoy, Armilla (Peter) Jauquet, Ethereda (Edward) Theys, and Alden (Angie) LeRoy; and sisters-in-law, Diane (Jack) Henry and Terri Veeser.

Family and friends may visit Simply Cremation, 1530 W. Mason St., Green Bay, on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 11 a.m. until the hour of memorial service at 12 p.m., with Deacon Bill Burkel officiating. Family flowers provided by Schroeder's Flowers in Green Bay.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Caraton Commons – De Pere Assisted Living, St. Croix Hospice, Lili, RN, and Marissa, CNA, as well as Christina Olson, NP, with Aurora, for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to Larry. Your kindness and support brought comfort to Larry and his family during his final days.

Larry’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed, but his family will carry his love, laughter, faith, and the many simple moments they shared with him forever.
