Kurt Hetzel

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Kurt Hetzel, born November 27, 1960. Kurt was guided to his heavenly home by his guardian angel, surrounded by his family on July 20, 2026.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kelly Hetzel. Their love story began at the age of 13 and blossomed into marriage on July 19, 1980, and they have since built a beautiful life together. Also left to honor Kurt's memory are their two loving daughters, Stephanie/Chris Martch and Jennifer/Jason King and he will always be Papa to his granddaughter, Kylee King.

Kurt was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Janet Hetzel, and his infant brother, Khristopher. Also his best friend, Michael (Zooner) Vlies who he know joins in paradise.

Kurt was an avid supporter of the Green Bay Packers. A regular at classic car shows with his 1957 Chevy and loved gun shows.

Kurt was a man of patience and strived to be the best version of himself. The closest to his heart was taking care of his family, an endeavor he dedicated his life to.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Kurt for family and friends at a later date and will be announced in the future. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kurt's memory can be made to the family to cover medical and memorial expenses.

Kurt's departure leave a void in the hearts of those who knew him.
