Kenneth J. Lenz, 61, passed away at his home in Shiocton WI on September 2, 2020 after a recent diagnosis of cancer. Born on April 21, 1959, at Appleton Memorial Hospital WI, he is the son of Norman and Margaret (Le Noble) Lenz.
Kenny enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 17, serving his country from 1976 – 1982. In 1977 he was aboard the USS Hassayampa AO-145. When he left active duty in 1979, he was aboard the USS Dixon (AS-37). He was honorably discharged from the US Navy after serving aboard the USS Hassayampa and the USS Dixon as a Boatswain's Mate. On June 6, 1998, he married the love of his life, Cynthia L. Young in Medina WI. He worked at Mid-Con in Hortonville, WI for 32 year.
Kenny enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, being up north at the land spending quality time with his parents, wife Cindy, and numerous other family and friends. His greatest joy was out on the road riding his Harley.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; stepson Dillon (Nikki) Zasoba; parents, Norm and Maggie; sister, Shelly (Pete) Gubbels; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many additional family and beloved friends.
He is preceded in death by his older brother Gary, maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, mother and father-in-law, a sister-in-law, brother-in-law, niece, close friend Frosty (Steve Hale) and beloved laughing dove KooKoo.
There will be a celebration of life for Kenny at Shiocton Lake Park N5684 Lake Park St. Shiocton WI 54170 on Sunday September 27, 2020 from 3pm to 6pm, prayer service to start at 4:00pm. Please provide your own mask if you wish to wear one.
