Kathleen M. Pitlanich

Kathleen (Kathi) M. Pitlanich, age 78, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home, on May 8, 2025.

Kathi was born in Marquette, Michigan on October 12, 1946 to Stephen and Beatrice Sarka.

She worked at a day care in Marquette, Michigan for many years. When she moved to Wisconsin, she worked at Associated Bank. Kathi never had children of her own but her nieces and nephews considered her as a second mom. She loved her dogs Cinnamon, Mandy and also Murphy.

Kathi is survived by her brothers Donald (Janet) Sarka and Daniel Sarka; nephews Scott (Lori) Gauthier, Michael Sarka, Ken (Abby) Sarka; and nieces Jill (Brian) Wiggins and Cheryl Koeller and many great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Beatrice; brothers Wayne (Jenny) and David and sister Carol (Leonard) Gauthier.

The family would like to thank the staff and friends at Fort Howard Apartments where Kathi lived for many years including special friend Fred.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
