June M. Grabow

June 1, 1956 — June 11, 2025

This obituary is authored by Jerry

June Marie Grabow joined three of her brothers on June 1, 1956. Their names? Richard, Jeffrey and Gordon. A few years later, Jon completed their wonderful family. This loving family proved to be the foundation of - A life well lived.

June Bug graduated from Minnesota State University after being provided with all the love and guidance her parents and brothers could give her. Various college jobs included being a turkey trusser for Swift (AKA a Swiftie) allowed her to graduate with virtually no debt. It was one of many part-time and summer positions she held. It was the one job she compained about the most and most fondly remembered.

Armed with her degree she and her dear Mother embarked on a journey to Green Bay. She had no clue as to where Green Bay was, but she had a job offer and was ready to use her degree to be self sufficent. She was a soft and gentle person, but she was spunky!

Her first job was with an insurance adjustment company. Next she entered the world of banking where June met Jerry. September 2, 1989 they pledged their love and promised to be together forever. June Bug's final employer was Humana, where she retired after a a sixteen year career. At age of 57,June Bug wanted to spend more time at home with Jerry.

June loved to work in the gardens. Her roses and lillies were her pride and joy. The closest she came to using a four letter word was when her flowers were ravaged by deer. She loved the outdoors and walked two miles at least three days per week. Walking gave her a chance to enjoy the beauty of God's world and to stay in shape. June was happiest when she was home.

June Bug was the kindest most loving person who ever lived. Her ever present smile lit up the room. Her dry sense of humor caught some off guard. To know her was to love her.

She leaves a massive void. Two of her brothers and their spouses survive her in her home town. Rich and Gail, Gordy and Nancy. Jon and Sue live in Wilmar, MN. Her brother Jeff recently passed away. His bride LeAnn survives him. There are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews scattered all over the USA. She spoke of and loved every one of them.

Her stroke was caused by an inoperable intracranial hemorrage. Blood pooled near her brain, and the June we knew and loved was all but gone within 12 hours. Please know her spirit continues to remain with us today. I know she would like us to remember her by smiling, hugging and telling the people in our lives how much they mean to us. I know, because we did that every day.

June Marie Grabow 6/1/56 - 6/11/25 A life well lived.
