Judith “Judy” Ann Shepard ,73 of Sturgeon Bay was called home on April 9, 2026. She passed away at Aurora Bay care hospital in Green Bay. Tammy Haskell and Erin Hilsabeck stood vigil at Judy’s bedside.
Judy was Survived by her loving husband, David for 34 years.
She left behind a lot of nieces and nephews and a lot of friends. Some of them are Tammy and Jeff Wolf Erin and Marty Hilsabeck. Ryan and Grace Hilsabeck All of Green Bay. Michelle Haskell, Paul and Sandy Hilsabeck, Donna Hilsabeck, and Michelle Haskell all of Sturgeon Bay. Cheryl Hilsabeck.
Judy only had two grandchildren Cody Gillis and heavenly Gillis were the light of Judys eyes and very loved. Judy’s great grandchildren are Judith Elaine Gillis ,JosieChristine Gillis, Tanner, Marley, Kubiak, Elijah J Kubiak, and not yet born Nivea Grace Gillis.
Judy worked at many places in Sturgeon Bay it up in northern door. Some of them are Smith Lodge, Walmart, landmark resort, and Richard Richards Dunn Roman Motel.
Judy was proceeded in death by her mother Joyce Hilsabeck, and her father David Hilsabeck, her Grandma, Jesse, and her Grandpa Floyd Martin Hilsabeck, and many more aunts and uncles.
Judy loved Elvis old country, music, crafts, gradsales, thrift stores, especially Green Door Thrift of Door County. She loved movies. She also loved her faithful dog Benji and her cat Sinbad and Taz.
Thank you to Aurora Baycare for taking wonderful care of Judy and her last days. A big thank you to Bryn one of her nurses.
