Juan Maldonando

May 24, 1936 — April 3, 2024

Juan Maldonado (age 87), went to heaven on April 3rd, 2024.

Juan was born in Manati, Puerto Rico, on May 24, 1936. His maternal mother, Ramona Cortes from Rio Grande, Puerto Rico and father, Delvin Gonzalez from Arecibo, Puerto Rico. When Juan was a baby, he lost his mom due to illness and Juan's Dad let his neighbors adopt him. That family's last name is, The Maldonado's. Juan worked for Streets and Sanitation of Puerto Rico for 35 years, where he retired from.

Juan enjoyed collecting aluminum cans to create projects, making hats, picture frames and even a 6 foot Christmas tree. Juan would love hearing his collection of Spanish love songs, but most of all, he loved going to the casino.

Juan had three kids. Oldest son, Edwin Gonzales, Daughter, Adacelis (Husband Henry) Delagarza, and his youngest son, Juan Maldonado. Juan only has 2 living nieces in Puerto Rico, Glady and Hilda. Juan has 6 grandkids and 10 great grandkids.

I would like to give special thanks to NOC shift, for being there for my dads last moments.

My dads last wishes were to be cremated and to do a private gathering with family and close friends.
