Joseph “Joe” August Naliborski Sr.

Joe gained his angel wings on December 31st, 2025 at the age of 88.

Joe was born Dec 18th, 1937 in Chicago, Ill to August and Helen Naliborski. When Joe was 12, the family moved to Krakow, Wi where Joe helped on the family farm. Joe later joined the Army from 1956 to 1959 where he was stationed in Greenland.

Joe met his future bride in 1960, JoAnn Wilinski and they were married in September later that year. They started their lives together on the farm they purchased in Krakow, Wi where they raised their 3 children. Joe worked on the farm as well as a full-time mechanic for Woosencraft Chev in Pulaski. When Joe got out of farming, he continued to work as a full-time mechanic at Parson’s Chev in Oconto Falls, Pulaski Chase Co-op and Vendenbrook Ford in Bonduel until his retirement.

Joe could always be found tinkering with things out in the family garage. He enjoyed helping his neighbors, friends and family with any mechanical needs. Joe also enjoyed listening to Polka music in his garage and even doing a little jig while tinkering on things. 

Preceding Joe in death are his parents, August and Helen Naliborski, his two sisters, Dorothy (Thaddeus) Lech, Alice (Robert) Hanlon and also great granddaughter Andrea Shersing.

Joe will be deeply missed by his beautiful bride of 65 years, JoAnn Naliborski, his three children, daughter Jolene (Steve) Payment, son Joseph Jr. (Audrey) Naliborski, son James Sr. (Tammy) Naliborski. Seven beautiful grandchildren, and six Beautiful great grandchildren with number seven arriving in to our family in April 2026. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Per Joseph Sr’s request, a private family gathering will be held at a later date. 

Joe’s family would like to thank the staff at Meadowbrook Skilled Nursing Facility, all of the staff at HSHS St. Clare Hospital and the staff at Unity Hospice for their amazing and loving care of Joe and our family during our time of need.
