Joel Murray, 60, Green Bay, passed away September 24, 2016. Born on April 24, 1956, he is the son of the late James and Joyce (Banta) Murray. Joel graduated from East High School. He served in the United States Navy as an aircraft mechanic and was honorably discharged in 1974. Over his lifetime he worked at the railroad and as a metal fabricator. Joel loved racing, and was an avid Packer, Badger, and Brewer fan
He is survived by his five siblings, Vickie (James) Hunt, Christine (Stephen), Voelker, Jillaine (Dale) Seltzer, Dawn Murray, and Maria (Jeffrey) Boll; sister-in-law, Sandra Murray and many nieces and nephews.
Joel was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Murray.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Wally’s Spot Supper Club Thursday, SEPTEMBER 29, from 5PM until 7 PM.
The family would like to thank the staff of Manor Care East for making the last couple months of his life comfortable and bringing him joy and laughter. Also, a special thanks to Unity Hospice for their professionalism and knowledge.
