Jerome Albert Kopp

Jerome Albert Kopp passed away on July 22, 2026, surrounded by his wife of 53 years and their children. Together, they shared their love as they said goodbye to a devoted husband and father. Jerome passed peacefully into Heaven, where he found eternal peace.

Jerome married Linda on January 23, 1974. Together, they built a loving family and raised ten children.

Jerome loved hunting and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was also an avid scrapper who took great pride in creating unique works of metal art. He could often be found spending hours putting together jigsaw puzzles. Jerome enjoyed visiting with friends and socializing, and you could usually find him at the local pub enjoying a Pabst. Throughout his working years, he was employed at Wausaukee Lumber, Stocke, Crivitz Lumber, and Nercon.

Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Rose Kopp; his stepfather, Miles Goetz; his parents-in-law, Martin ("Bud") and Jane Lade; his sons, Lennie Kasbaum, Lonnie Kasbaum, and Larry Kasbaum; his son-in-law, Jeff Zahorik; his brothers, Ronald and Ty; and his sister, Betty. His family finds comfort in knowing he was welcomed into Heaven by the loved ones whom he dearly missed.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Linda Kopp of Oconto; his children, Jerome (Carol) Kopp of Peshtigo, Cindy Kopp of Porterfield, Jayme (Carol) Kopp of Gillett, Leland "Joe" (Tresea) Kasbaum of Missouri, Lori (Michael) Bickel of Oconto, Leah (Rod) Zahorik of Oconto, Lu (Paul) Stenstrup of Oconto, and Leroy Kasbaum; as well as his brother-in-law, Jerry Lade of Oconto. Jerome also leaves behind 21 cherished grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, all of whom were a tremendous source of joy in his life. He is also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and all who were blessed to know and love him.
