James S. Deprey

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of James (Jim) Stephen Deprey of Green Bay,WI. He left this world June 26th surrounded by his loving family at the age of 47 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

James was born on July 1st, 1978 in Green Bay, WI, to Cletus Sr. and Mary (Kafka) Deprey of Sliver Cliff, WI. James graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1996. James marrioed the love of his life Andrea (Henkel) Deprey on June 25th, 2022.

One of James's proudest achievements was being a dad to his stepson Xander and son Tavin. Most recently, James took pride in being able to help coach Tavin's little league baseball team. (Go Mudhens!) James was an avid hunter and loved to spend time in the woods, on his family's land in Wausaukee with Andrea and Sons. James enjoyed spending time at his parents home in Sliver Cliff and willing to take on any projects they had. He shared his love music with Andrea going to see his favorite band Avatar on many occasions.

James is survived by his loving wife Andrea (Henkle) Deprey, Sons Xander Miller and Tavin Deprey. Parents Cletus Sr. and Mary (Kafka) Deprey. Sister Jenny Rogers (Shawn), Niece Madysen Rogers, Nephew Alex Rogers (Hanae Delvaux) Nephew Cletus Deprey III. Father and Mother Inlaw David and Pamala (Dwinells) Henkel, Brother Inlaw Jason D Henkel, Niece Lexi Bourasa and Nephews Jackson and Bentley Henkel. He will be missed by many family members and friends.

James was preceded in death by his Grandparents on both sides of his family, and his older brother, Cletus Deprey Jr.

In lieu of a service, there will be a celebration of life on Saturday September 12th from 2 -5 pm at Simonets Bar on 925 Main St in Green Bay. Please enter on the backside of the building.
