Guinevere Tarnow

Guinevere Adell (Bauer) Tarnow, July 29, 1935 – March 29, 2024. Was born to Ross and Guinevere (Forney) Bauer and lived most of her life in Westville, Indiana. Retired to Hot Springs, AR and later moved to Green Bay, WI. She was married on June 12, 1954, to Floyd E. Tarnow(deceased). They had four children, Iris D (Tarnow) Johnson(deceased), Mark A Tarnow, Rose M (Tarnow) Erickson (deceased), and Yvonne A. (Tarnow) Sjoquist. Her family blessed her life further with nine grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.

She worked at the Blackhawk Grill for many years before going to work at Slater Publishing. In 1996 Guin, along with her daughter Yvonne purchased Slater Publishing and renamed it Westville Printing. where she worked until she retired to Hot Springs, AR. She enjoyed bowling and bingo. She was an active member of the Westville Fire Department Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in both LaPorte IN and Hot Springs AR.

She was cremated. There will be a Celebration of her life in LaPorte, Indiana later this summer.
