Glen “Butch” Ducat, 76, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Butch was born on March 15, 1949, in the town of Eaton, to the late Clarence and Marie (Puyleart) Ducat. He carried his roots with him throughout his life and took pride in hard work, family, and the simple joys that meant the most.
He is survived by his two daughters, Catrina Ducat and Clarissa Ducat, and his son, Bradley Ducat. He was a proud grandfather to Julian, Rosa, Christopher Jr., Jakari, Kayleigh, Kirsten, and Austin, and a loving great-grandfather to Ameila. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Butch is also survived by his brother, Clarence Jr. (Judy Ritchie) Ducat; his sisters, Mary Jane Grusznski, Janet (Tom) Breunig, and Jackie (Bernie) Reed; his sister-in-law, Mary Ducat; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Joseph, Kenny, Raymond, and Richard Ducat; his sisters, Joyce Vanden Heuvel, JoAnn Minkel, Janice, and Judy Ducat; his granddaughter, Ma’liyah; his brother-in-laws, Dick Vanden Heuvel, Chuck Minkel, and Barney Grusznski ; and his sisters-in-law, Germaine Ducat and Margaret Ducat.
Butch loved farming and enjoyed playing cards, sharing stories, and relaxing with a good ol’ Pabst Blue Ribbon. He valued laughter, loyalty, and time spent with those he loved most.
A celebration of life will be held on March 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Someplace Else Bar in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
He will be remembered for his strong spirit, his deep love for his family, and the way he brought people together. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
