Genrose "Gigi" Inez Vollmer
June 2, 1944 — September 27, 2022
Genrose “Gigi” Inez Vollmer, age 78, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, in Brillion, Wisconsin. She was born June 2, 1944, in Chilton, Wisconsin, to Sylvester and Helen (Bernklau) Vollmer of Hilbert, Wisconsin.
Genrose enjoyed her many friendships, volunteer work, and sponsorship through A.A. since 1981. She enjoyed traveling to see her family in California, Georgia, and Virginia. She especially loved visits to Disneyland and California Adventure with her family.
She is survived by her loving son, Russell, son-in-law Darren; daughter Mary Helen, son-in-law Todd; proud Nana to her granddaughter, Graysun. She is survived by her brother Judd Vollmer, his dear wife Sue, sister-in-law Donna (Jim and Joe), and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Joe, Jon, Kay, and Jim; sisters-in-law Margaret (Joe) and Donna (Jon), brother-in-law Ron Rankin (Kay), much-loved nephews Rick Rankin, Tim Vollmer, and Terry Vollmer, best friends Beverly Jean Anderson and Diane L. Panetti, and her dearest cat, Patches.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Caregivers Amaya, Ellie, Olivia, Faith, Haille, Madyson, Katrina, Nikki, and all the staff from Brillion West Haven, Lakeland Care, and Heartland/Promedica Hospice.
