September 23, 1946 — April 14, 2026

Ester (Marie) Kobylarczyk, 79, Longlake, WI, passed away April 14, 2026, of heart failure. Born on September 23, 1946, in Green Bay, to Arlie (Hillbilly) and Violet (Budget) Nelson, being the middle child.

Residing in Suamico with 3 brothers, Curt, Lee, and Jerry, and 3 sisters, Helen, Linda, and Virginia; not liking her old wordly name, asked to be called Marie. She graduated from East High School. After her role as a fulltime mother mastering a household, she went on to sell cars at Dorsch Ford. As a natural salesperson she moved on to be the proprietor of Flatlanders Bar in Longlake, WI, for 21 years, living her days out on the lake she loved. Happily married to John Kobylarczyk, she enjoyed playing cribbage, cards, and fishing, as well as watching the swans and listening to the loons. In her later days she looked forward to moving to Louisiana, spending her last years in the Bayou.

Survivors include her 4 children: Teresa (Dave) Bohlman, Tina Salnik, Kevin (Mindy) Kobylarczyk, and Amy Kobylarczyk; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

She will be joining her father and mother; 2 brothers and 2 sisters; husband John; a step son John Jr.; grandson, Billy Salnik; 2 great grandchildren Charlotte and Josh Salnik, in Heaven. God be with them all.

Service will be held at St Maximilian Kolbe Parish Church, 6051 Noble St, Sobieski, WI on Tuesday April 28 from 9:00 until the mass at 11:00.

A special thanks goes out to her remaining sibling, Jerry Nelson and Helen Shallow for being so helpful to her in the end.
