She was born on January 11, 1942, to the late John (Jack) and Lorraine Brady of Green Bay.
Betty attended St. Joseph’s Academy and was a graduate of Coleman High School in Coleman, Wisconsin. Her parents owned and operated the Coleman Hotel, Restaurant, and Bowling Alley, where Betty learned early the values of hard work, hospitality, and community.
In 1960, the family returned to Green Bay, where Betty met the love of her life, Roger Durocher, at a mutual friend’s wedding. They were married on January 14, 1961, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay and shared 54 years of marriage, raising two daughters and building a life firmly rooted in faith, family, and service. Betty was a dedicated and accomplished woman. She owned and operated a grocery store in Anston, Wisconsin, worked for the Brown County University Extension’s Expanded Foods and Nutrition Program, and later enjoyed a successful sales career with Imperial, Inc.
Betty and Roger shared a deep love of travel, journeying throughout most of the United States and visiting six of the seven continents. Above all, Betty treasured time spent with her family and friends.
A woman of deep and abiding faith, Betty was a longtime member of Resurrection Parish in Green Bay. She served as a Eucharistic Minister, was a member of the Hilltoppers, and faithfully visited St. Peter and Paul’s Eucharistic Adoration Chapel weekly since its inception in December 1999.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger Durocher; her parents, John (Jack) and Lorraine Brady; and her sister, Kathleen Frelich of Fort Myers, Florida.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Denise (Jim) Wesolowski of Cecil, Wisconsin, and Reneé Durocher of Green Bay, Wisconsin; her cherished grandchildren Kyle (Kathleen) Wesolowski, Kasie (Gary) De Caster Jr., Travis Wesolowski, Olivia Durocher (fiancé David Ihlenfeldt), and Jack Flis; and her adored great-grandchildren Charlotte Wesolowski, Gunner De Caster, and Delilah De Caster.
Betty is also survived by her sisters Patricia Belter, Mary Gillis, and Peggy Rabitoy, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Betty’s life was a reflection of her faith, kindness, and devotion to family. Her legacy of love and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A private, immediate family only service will be held on January 9, 2026, with entombment to follow at the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
