Donna M. Black

Donna M. Black, 91, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, at a local assisted living facility. She was born March 25, 1931, daughter to the late Charles and Loretta (Seifert) Johnsen. Donna graduated from Green Bay West High School, and married Barney Black on August 23, 1958. He preceded her in death in 2004. Donna worked as a secretary for Clairmont Transfer Trucking for many years. Donna enjoyed spending time cheering on the Packers, gambling at the casino, and was an avid reader. She loved spending time with her grandkids. She will be deeply missed by her 3 children: Larry (Candy) Black, Alabama, Craig (Jayne) Black, De Pere, and Denise (Don) McNeill, Green Bay; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-granchildren; sister, Jackie Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by a son, Kevin; a sister, Cleo; and a brother, Wayne. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 S. Ridge Road, Green Bay, at 11 a.m. Visitation will start at 9 a.m. The family extends a special thank you to the wonderful staff at AseraCare Hospice and Century Ridge Adult Living.
