David Lindstrom, 84, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

David was born on September 10, 1941, in Wausau, Wisconsin, to the late Oscar and Sigrid Lindstrom. He graduated from West High School and attended UW–Green Bay. He was proud of his service in the U.S. Air Force, where he was stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. On June 26, 1965, he married his beloved wife, Mary Pierquet. Together, David and Mary built a home based on faith, hard work, and devotion to family.

An entrepreneur at heart, David founded the Lindstrom Corporation in Green Bay and built it into a respected real estate brokerage, helping countless families and businesses. He was a real estate broker, businessman, creative thinker, and perpetual dreamer, always imagining new ideas and opportunities. He also served his community in many ways, including as Advisory Board President for The Salvation Army of Green Bay and as President of the Green Bay Board of Realtors.

A devout Christian, David lived his faith through kindness, generosity, and genuine interest in others. He had a gift for making people feel valued and welcomed, embodying the belief that “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

David had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes. One of his most memorable sayings, “Today is the first day of the rest of your life,” reflected his optimism and belief in new beginnings. He enjoyed time with family, fishing trips with friends to Canada, watching his son Aaron’s band perform, gardening, and working in his yard. He took great pride in creating beauty around his home and was a steady friend and mentor to many.

Above all, David’s proudest legacy was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; his sons, David (Mary) Lindstrom and Aaron (Kelly) Lindstrom; daughter-in-law, Karen Lindstrom; grandchildren, Sarah (Ray) Schmid, Anna, Jenna, Will, Jude, Coretta, Grace, and Hazel; and in-laws, Joan Peters, Chris (Tina) Pierquet, Sandy Classon, Linda (Steve) Meyer and many nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by dear friends David and Sue Borowski.

He was preceded in death by his son, Nathan Lindstrom; his in-laws, Clarence and Rosella Pierquet; his sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Ann and Gene Hawkinson; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Pat Pierquet; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna and Gene Pieschek; his brother-in-law, Robert Peters; and nieces, Julie Hawkinson and Lori Pierquet.

A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Green Bay Community Church, 600 Cardinal Lane, Green Bay, WI 54313. David’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all his caregivers at St. Mary’s Hospital, with special gratitude to Oksana for the extra care she provided.

David will be remembered for his warmth, his faith, his creativity, and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
