Darrell Naze

Darrell L Naze (76) peacefully passed away on January 17th, 2024, at Aurora Hospital with family at his side. 

Darrell L Naze was born in Casco, Wisconsin to parents James X Naze and Elenore (Lombardo) Naze on July 3, 1947. He graduated from Algoma High School in 1966. 

He married Christine (Tauscher) Naze on August 5, 1972. Darrell and Christine proceeded to raise two children, Natalie, and Benjamin. Darrell had made a career in Auto sales with Jepson Chevrolet, Cliff Walls Olds and then with Bergstrom Cadillac before retiring in 2014. 

Darrell enjoyed the many times he either fished or hunted with his special friends; Richard Hanson and his deceased wife, Jann, or David (Scratch) Stevens and his deceased wife, Susie. Whether it was the houseboats vacations or the camping adventures, to listening to the oldies by the campfires, they all produced so many tales to laugh about for years!

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents; James and Elenore Naze, sisters Patricia Naze, Jean (Naze) Shelton and nephew Eric Marquardt, half-sisters Mary Arnone, Delores Vinson and half-brother John Pedroso. 

Also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louis and Jane Tauscher, sister-in-law Susan L Stien and brother-in-law Robert Loos. 

Darrell, survived by his wife of 51 years, Christine Naze, daughter, Natalie (John) Walker and their two children, Norah, and Mason Walker. Also survived by his son, Benjamin (Jenny) Naze and their three children, Isabella, Sophia, and Noah. 

Darrell, survived by his sisters, Shirley (Gary) Marquardt, Nancy (David) Klessig, brother Chuck (Kathy) Pedroso and sister Roseann (David) Wise, sister-in law, Kathy Loos (Brian Hibbard), brother-in-law, Steven (Cheryl) Tauscher any many loved nieces and nephews.

The family will greet visitors at St John’s Lutheran Church, 1253 County Road J, Little Suamico, WI 54141 on Saturday February 24, 2024, from 10am until 12 noon. A Celebration of Life Service held at noon with a light luncheon to follow.

The family wished to extend their gratitude and love to the Aurora Cancer Care Team, Dr Patel and Dr Roede, emergency doctors and staff, and all doctors and nursing staff in the end of life, care unit.  Your compassion and care of our beloved did not go unnoticed.
