Danny Smith

Danny Smith of Dunbar Wisconsin passed away Sept. 7 2025 after a short battle with lung cancer.

He was born in Connecticut to parents Arlene (Reed) and Arthur "Slim" Smith. Lived many years in Gibsonton Florida proudly traveling the country as an outdoor amusement showmen providing game concessions for fairs. Later in life he moved to Wisconsin with his wife and children working as an over the road truck driver for Michauds Trucking of Kingsford, Michigan.

Danny was known for his easy going approach to life. He had a good sense of humor, would laugh at his own silly jokes and knew how to make everyone smile.

His kindness, honesty, dependability and his love for his family was clear to all who knew him. Danny along with his wife Judy had a deep love for animals. Together they have rescued many animals and given them a wonderful life. He enjoyed family gatherings and loved fishing. Especially when he could go with his grandchildren.

Danny is survived by his spouse Judith, two sons Danny Jr. and Richard (laura), a sister Anna Smith, niece Christina (art) Gillette, and his greatest prizes his grandchildren Vincent, Arthur, Amelia and Skylar. Along with many neices, nephews, brother in laws, sister in laws and mother in law.

The devotion he showed his family, especially to his wife will always be remembered.
