Dana K. Selinski, age 70, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026, surrounded by the love, comfort, and compassion of her son and twin sister by her side.
Dana was born on September 11, 1956, in Clintonville, WI the daughter of Joe and Lorraine Selinski. She grew up in Sheboygan, WI until moving to Pulaski, WI to start her family. Dana was a clerk at the Post Office until retirement, a position she truly loved. After retiring she moved to Plymouth, WI to be closer to her mother. Dana enjoyed her time working at the Plymouth Arts Center in her retirement years, even performing in community theatre alongside her mother.
Dana first and foremost loved being a parent to her sons. The memories she created with them will never be forgotten and will live on forever. Dana was a lifelong gardener, often sharing the fruits of her labor with others. Collecting antiques and unique objects, another one of her passions, created a home with rare and cherished items to pass down to her loved ones. She adored spending time with her grandson “Jamo,” acting silly and making him giggle, the deep bond the two shared was undeniable.
Dana is survived by her beloved children Erik (Angie) Piechocki and David Piechocki; grandchildren James Piechocki, Tyler (Emily) Hagemeier, Jake Sager, and Ellie Sager; siblings Deborah (Chuck) Knight, Kathy Selinski, Laurie (Gary) Bonney, Lisa (Scott) Burmeister, and Mary Holtz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son James Piechocki, brother Joe Selinski, and parents Joe and Lorraine Selinski. Dana endured the profound loss of her son James and continued on with remarkable strength. Her family finds comfort in imagining her being reunited once again with those that she has dearly missed.
The family extends its heartfelt thanks to the angels at Unity Hospice and Jack & Engrid Meng Hospice Residence for their compassionate care and support. The dignity and comfort they provided guided the family through this difficult journey, our appreciation in words will never be enough for the gratefulness we will always have in our hearts.
In accordance with her wishes no formal services will be held.
“She's in the sun, the wind, the rain, she's in the air you breathe with every breath you take. She sings a song of hope and cheer, there's no more pain, no more fear. You'll see her in the clouds above, hear her whisper words of love, you'll be together before long, until then, listen for her song–She's in the Sun, the Wind, the Rain by Christy Ann Martine.”
