Cynthia “Cindy” L. Hoppe, loving mother and grandmother, age 71, Green Bay Wisconsin, passed away December 19th, 2019 after a courageous two year battle against cancer. She was born December 7th, 1948 in Oconto, WI to the late Homer and Claudine Curtis.
Cindy was a graduate of the Operating Room Technician program at NWTC and worked for many years in the GI Lab at St. Vincent Hospital. Prior to her retirement she worked at Sam’s Club. Growing up, Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family at Kelly Lake, fishing and water skiing. Cindy loved going out with friends and dancing the night away. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and in recent years loved going to the casino.
Cindy is survived by her three children, Denise (Denise Thill) Hoppe, Jennifer Hoppe-McDonald, R.J. (Sarah) Hoppe and ten grandchildren: Alex Schott, Logan Schott, Mykenzie Schott, Brynn McDonald, Gabe Hoppe, Ava Hoppe, Emma Hoppe, Collin Hoppe, Ollie Hoppe and Finn Hoppe. She also leaves behind one sister Linda Curtis (Kim) Anderson and three brothers, Greg (Jenny) Curtis, Jeff Curtis, and Michael Curtis as well as nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Claudine Curtis.
There will be no visitation or funeral service for the public, per Cindy’s request a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
