Cindy Lou Mellen, 59, of Howard, WI passed away on October 20th, 2026 surrounded by loved ones after a short battle with Lung cancer. She will be remembered for the love she shared with those closest to her and the lasting memories she created throughout her life.

Whether as a caregiver, family member, friend, or in the many roles she embraced over the years, she was known for her compassionate heart and unwavering desire to help others, a trait that defined who she was.
Cindy enjoyed spending time up north with her family, where she made many cherished memories. She also loved flowers, making crafts, and baking during the holidays. She had a special appreciation for nature and enjoyed collecting seashells and all sorts of treasures she found outdoors. She had a unique way of finding beauty in everything around her, appreciating the little things that others might overlook. The moments she shared with family and friends will continue to hold a special place in their hearts.
Cindy is survived by her loving daughter, Jillian Sidon, and son-in-law, Adrian Sidon; her dear friend, Jacob Schmitt; her brothers, Michael (Kathy) Mellen, Richard (Cheryl) Mellen, Thomas Mellen, and Patrick Mellen; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

As well as many dear friends and loved ones who helped shape her life, including those whose friendship and companionship remained special to her throughout her years.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Aurora Hospice, especially Lauren and Chelsea, for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they provided to Cindy and her family during her battle. Their support brought comfort and peace during a difficult time and will never be forgotten.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. with a service at 3:30 p.m. at Simply Cremation, 2430 W. Mason Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin.
