Christopher A. Sundquist, 32, Omro, passed away unexpectedly, December 25, 2023, at a Green Bay hospital. Born June 30, 1991, in Oshkosh. Chris is a graduate of Omro High School, Class of 2009. Chris had worked numerous jobs including working at the Oshkosh Outlet Shoppes, Serwas Window Cleaning, Amcor, and most recently Valley Popcorn. Chris enjoyed collecting various sports cards and Pokémon cards. He was a huge Brewer, Badger, and Packer fan while also cheering on the Buffalo Bills. Chris also enjoyed watching NASCAR. He loved the outdoors, including camping, fishing and hunting, especially bow hunting.
Chris is survived by his parents, Shaun and Jennifer (Sundquist) Daugherty; daughter, Bailee Sundquist-Sitter and her mother, Ashley Sitter; sister, Carissa; "sister" Victoria Haecker; half-brother, Kyle Kamine; half-sister, Alyssa (Justin) Pederson; maternal grandmother, Joyce Sundquist; aunts and uncles, Clifford (Nicole) Sundquist, Jr, Sharon Sundquist, Laura Salzer, Lillian Otto, Doug Boushele, Bobbi (Tim) LaCroix, Stacey (Ken) Stone, Dana (Angie) Daugherty and Sarah Sypek; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his birth-father, Thomas Culver; maternal grandfather, Clifford "Papa" Sundquist, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Robert and Patti Daugherty; aunt, Lisa Boushele; uncle, Jeff "Dort" Daugherty; best friend, David Ruck; and his beloved dog, Easton.
Memorial Gathering at New Life Community Church, 3250 W. 9th Ave., Oshkosh, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, with visitation from 4-6pm. Memorial service, 6pm Wednesday at the church. A separate Celebration of Christopher's Life will be held at a later date, nearer to Chris's birthday.
Chris's family extends a special thank you to Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Aurora Medical Center's emergency department staff in Oshkosh, Winnebago County Sheriff's Department, Omro Police Department and First Responders; and UW Organ and Tissue Donation Team, and UW Med-Flight.
